Patty Heibel’s works at “Art in Space” event
Seven of Patty Heibel’s works will be shown at UWM’s second annual benefit, “Art in Space” at the UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium on Saturday, April 16, 2011 7:00 to 8:30pm.
Enjoy an elegant evening of gazing at gorgeous galaxies, star clusters, and nebulas in our intimate theater, while admiring the art work of UWM staff, students and local artists, and supporting the UWM Planetarium’s many affordable programs for students and the community.
For the first time ever, the UWM Planetarium is partnering with the UWM Art and Design Department to create a truly artful event featuring:
- A stellar show fusing art and space together
- A gallery show in the Physics building hallway with several out-of-this-world artworks created by staff and students available for purchase
- Complimentary refreshments
- Chances to win big at our raffle full of local favorites
