| Marta Gwizdala, an artist originally from Poland who has been residing in Wisconsin for several years, has been passionate about painting since the age of four. During her artistic journey, she won her first art competition at the age of ten, which awarded her a trip to Paris, a significant achievement given the difficulties of traveling from a post-communist country at that time. Although she initially trained to become a diplomat, Marta chose to pursue a career in art, encouraged by her supportive husband and family. Specializing in mixed media art, she excels in creating 3D textured acrylic pieces combined with epoxy resin and various other materials. Marta’s art studio is located in The Arts Mill. Marta’s paintings serve as nostalgic love letters to homes left behind, blending idealistic elements with childhood memories. They capture the enchanting essence of recalling distant homes, evoking a sense of wonder and longing. Her art reminds us to follow the sparkle, keeping our spirits warm, passionate, and filled with happiness. |
