Dave Rank will present an overview of 2D and 3D digital art techniques including hybrid techniques that mix-in traditional, physical media. There will be examples from still work as well as animation. Dave will explain foundational concepts, for those new to digital tools. Blender, Adobe, and Autodesk tools will be the primary focus. Dave plans to bring some of his equipment, so there may be a chance for attendees to try their hand on a large Wacom tablet and other nifty devices. (Note: This will NOT be an exploration into new AI tools.)
