I am of Tigua, Tarahumara, and Mexican decent. Ceramic art is my preferred medium. This is the  way I choose to share the beauty of my culture. I studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. There, I learned a lot about local tribes and the importance of respecting tribal sovereignty. I have a particular interest in ancient Mexican/Aztec art. I am bringing a modern perspective to ancient images and creating accessibility to other people of culture. My vision for the future is entering my in art into competitions and incorporating metals and stones within my clay creations.
My favorite quote is “The future is bright!”
